Unleash The Power Within With Anthony Robbins – Should You Stay Away From This Seminar?

It was nearly a year ago when I saw a short program on TV about the Unleash The Power Within (UPW) seminar that Anthony Robbins offers. He began by saying that every person possesses the strong energy that can help us accomplish our life’s goals. I truly began to chuckle because the first thing I thought of was my child’s superhero figurines.

Seriously, why in the world would I pay money to attend this seminar when I think its initial topic is a bunch of bologna? Unfortunately my wife believes everything she hears, so before long we had two tickets for the up coming UPW in Chicago. If you can imagine your child throwing a tantrum because they don’t want to run errands, that was pretty much me. Did I mention this was an entire weekend?

Nevertheless, I realized I was acting childish and decided to give it a chance, I mean how bad could it be? Before long, Mr. Robbins to my suprise, was able to encourage me to reflect on my own life. The first topic of discussion that really hit home with me was fearing the future. The looming question is whether or not we will have improved our life or if we will be trapped where we are forever.

Listening to some of the other observers, most of their fears revolved around a financial rut. Luckily my wife and I have been fortunate enough to keep that off our worry list. However, what happens if it disappears? Will the economy stay afloat or will we lose our house, vehicles, or worse? We consider this all the time, and kind of just sit around waiting for it to happen.

While in our situation finances were not a concern, the quality of our personal life was suffering. We both work in busy fields and that only allots us enough time to spend the day with our children on Sundays. Do I want to spend the rest of my life enjoying only one day per week with my family? It is fine, however I am looking forward to going on vacation, (which there is no time for), and stop missing significant moments of my children’s lives.

Those issues and a lot more came to my attention over the course of the weekend and at the Unleash The Power Within seminar. Anthony Robbins showed me through his own words that I had basically made up my mind (subconsciously) that I was content with the way things were today. He explained how we’re afraid of the future and decide to lower our expectations, allowing the world to take control of our lives.

The very first night is even titled “Fear into Power.” He guides you through attacking your fears, and how to realize everything that has been blocking a certain area of your life, and instructs you how to push forward. You will see that he uses the word “shift” often; however, it is an imperative part of this program.

There is no doubt in my mind that you will enjoy the Unleash The Power Within and if your weekend is anything like mine, you will not only have a great time, but a life changing experience. Be aware, if you are scared of bad language you may want to keep away! Tony likes using words that will demand your attention, which in the end, is just another reason why you should check out the Unleash The Power Within.
